Job description
Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for analysing information and data necessary to define and discern cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes.
- Responsible for managing overall IR issues and take necessary action to avoid formation of union.
- In case of unionised plant; ensure discussion with management regarding union proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, and other mitigating circumstances.
- Responsible for 100 % fulfilment of IR and labour related compliances.
- Advises and trains managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances.
- Responsible for representing organization in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labour organizations.
- Collaborates with leadership on matters of policy and terms of memorandum of understanding before and throughout negotiation process.
- Collaborates with legal counsel and departments in the preparation for and participation in negotiation with employee and labour groups.
- Responsible to deal with internal and external stakeholder such as government bodies, local administration, Gr. Noida authorities, local political parties and develop strong liasoning.
- Responsible for preparation of action plan to deal with any protest, strike, labour unrest etc.
